Our team

The people you will see.

Two doctors, both Palmer graduates, both hands-on for the whole visit.

Dr. Jason Durnas, DC, DACBSP

Founder and Chiropractic Sports Physician

I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2012 and went on to earn my DACBSP, the board certification in chiropractic sports medicine. That took several more years of study and examination, and it is the reason the practice looks the way it does.

Most of what I treat is people who are working hard at something, whether that is competing, training, or getting through a physical job. I would rather find out why a thing keeps coming back than treat it again every few weeks.

Chiropractor

I was a patient here before I was a doctor here. I came in as a high school athlete, and the care I got is a large part of why I chose this profession at all.

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2021 and joined the team afterwards. Patients tell me they like that I explain what I am feeling as I work, and I would rather over-explain than leave you guessing.

Meet Dr. Jason Durnas, DC, DACBSP

Care that treats the whole person, not just the pain.

Dr. Durnas built Action Chiropractic around a hands-on philosophy: settle the pain, restore how you move, then give you what you need to hold it. Care here combines adjusting, a range of soft tissue therapies and specific rehab, chosen by what the assessment found rather than by what we happen to own.

What patients notice first is the thoroughness. You get told what is happening and why, in language that makes sense, so you understand your own body instead of just being treated. Competitive athletes, people on their feet all day, and everyone in between get met where they are.

In practice that means a sports and soft tissue focus built for bodies that have to keep working, eleven therapies under one roof, adjusting paired with hands-on tissue work in the same visit, and a plan that finishes with loading rather than trailing off.

“We are here to work out why it keeps coming back, treat that, and send you out with the work that keeps it away.”

Why Action Chiropractic?

Fast, fixers, and where the pros go.

Six things that shape every visit, whether you are chasing a season or just want to move without thinking about it.

Fast

You should feel a change in the first visit, not after a course of them. Patients say it in their own reviews again and again: moving and out of pain inside twenty minutes, shoulder mobility back after one session. That is the standard we work to.

Fixers, not managers

We are here to find what is actually driving the problem and fix it, not to book you in every fortnight forever. If something keeps coming back, that is the thing we go after, and you leave knowing what it was.

Where the pros come

Professional athletes travel here for this care, and everyone who walks in gets the same of it. Whether you are chasing a season or just want your back to stop arguing with you, you are treated like the next champion.

We tell you what we found

You will hear what we think is going on and why, in language that makes sense, before anything happens. Patients tell us often that this is the part nobody else did.

More than one tool in the room

Adjusting, ART, dry needling, IASTM, cupping and laser all live under one roof. The treatment follows the problem, instead of the problem being made to fit whichever technique we happen to own.

Rebuilt, not just relieved

Relief that does not hold is not a result. Every plan finishes with loading and specific work, so the change survives contact with your actual training and your actual job.
